I'll fix it later but anyway, on to my problem/question.

I was wondering how I would go about making sure that whenever a player picks up an herb it does not cancel out, remove, or replace and similar potions or buffs that the player may already have.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

in the xml files in directory data/skills search for the herb skills. some of them have defined stacktype and stackorder. that is what makes them stack with other buffs.

Last time I was on retail in CT2.2 when an herb wore out, your original buff was restored if there was one that it replaced.

Hmmm... should already work if herb skill contains "Herb" in the name...
