Meh, l2j doesn't like to change things at all, so no surprise really.
I don't know if BoneCP is actually better, I've read it has some minuses too, but in general that's the case.

If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.

But of course, that's all I do. But when I actually try to improve something then there's the golden silence or "we like it the old way". I actually try to do something instead of only posting when an argument comes up! Get your head out of your ass!

Re: BoneCP Missing credits.
well...instead of bitching...post some test results...comparisons...what ever to prove your way is better...but according performance i fully trust first nBd and core devs in l2j... so as JIV pointed already..focus on missing stuff if thats not problem for you... thanksjurchiks wrote:But of course, that's all I do. Missing credits was just a small mistake by our newbie developers, it was quickly fixed as you saw.Intrepid wrote:I wonder when it will be copied back with l2j credits again
After some tests the team will decide if we revert again back to BoneCP and of course your credits will be there.
Here on L2j we dont steal credits from other pple work.

*fork* has been using it for 8 months now - we don't have any real statistic data but we can say overall db performance is faster than c3p0

Re: BoneCP Missing credits.
How exactly is it missing credits. Is lord_rex and interpid the creators of boneCP ? LoL. The project is open source, everyone is allowed to use it so everyone can put it in his project without giving any credits to anyone. Grow up, you didnt discover the wheel or something, you just changed a pooling library in your project.
Someone who didnt bother reading the svn or ant manual and just waited for you to make him a visual guide for eclipse is not a guy that is willing to learn ... He is the definition of the leecher.
