L2J Revision 4903:
L2JDP Revision 8348:
Okay.. So, Ive just made my own Lineage2 Java private server to mess about in for a while, and down the line ill get a couple of friends to join me.
My problem is that the account created automatically. I get to the server select. Soon as i select my server, I just get disconnected. And thats it. No matter what i change, Or do. It refuses to work!..
Ive tried looking around abit, Probably not to the best of my ability though, But i just seriously cant work it out, Been wracking my brain for hours! :'(
Thanks in advance for any help
-Slex
p.s its set to localhost atm, so its not an IP issue, i dont think.. And i DID update my client to latest as i was told in the guide >.< But im worried my client is too far ahead now! D:

didnt think that would make a difference considering its localhost. but ive changed that and tried again.. still same.
just incase, what port(s) do you reccomend i open.. i might not have opened right ones
EDIT:
im still worried its my l2.. because i patched to the latest lineage 2.. And im not sure if THAT Part of the guide is still right >.<

First of all, check that your protocol version matches the server's, or put your protocol to server.properties.
ports : 2016, 7777, 7779

Re: Unable to connect to my own server!
Did you open those ports I said?
I'm not into those revision number thingies, but I think 413 is h5 client, so is your l2j revision also h5 BETA?

you can make a .bat or .cmd file, with the following inside:serbpower wrote:Well the guide said to update my client.. ill get my freya client back.. but it says if i dont want to update, Then use l2.bin file to launch l2.. How the hell do i use a .bin file to launch L2?!

Re: Unable to connect to my own server!
Okay i went as far as Re-Downloading Lineage 2 Freya client, i havent updated it or anything.. And now im trying both the methods that ive been told and NEITHER of them will work.. When i had the updated client it worked fine.. Making the .bat and all.. But this fresh client wont let me do it.. i get an error saying "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect..Blah blah"
