cant connect to server

Post by Borst »

So, i set up my server with the latest nightly build and it seems working so far ( i can ping my server) , at first i tryed to connect with the hi5 client which was a mistake ( i was able to login with my char by changing the allowed protocols to connect, but i got instantly an error if i enter the world)..so i found the freya client. But when i try to connect to my server (with a fresh install of Freya client) it gives me an gameguard 153 error, the gameguard is damaged please reinstall, i tryed some things to disable gameguard, didnt worked ( i can get to the char creating screen but it is just blank) .. Also if i upgrade the client with the launcher its not supposed to work cause it will be the hi5 then am i right? Also when i tryed to create an hi5 server everything went fine except i couldnt register the game server, the blue screen opened but instantly disappeared again and i cant read what the problem is.
My server is just a locale server, i set the host to
127.0.0.1 localhost

127.0.0.1 l2authd.lineage2.com
127.0.0.1 l2testauthd.lineage2.com
127.0.0.1 nprotect.lineage2.com

I looked for a couple of hours on google but i couldnt find a resolve..last time i had a server was several years ago, so i hope anyone could/ is willing to help me out, thanks..

edit: ok got it working now for some reason..
edit2: got the hi5 client/server working, but for some odd reason if i connect to the game in fullscreen, the server shuts down..someone got an idea? window mode works fine Oo
edit3: problem found and solved..my pc is just too bad, 2gb ram are not enough, had to change the gameserver to 768mb
