2 questions about system folder
Hello, I've got 2 questions.
First one is, if I've updated my client to the newest via Lineage 2 updater, do I only need a system folder that's the right version? (Version 216) For a L2J Server released a couple of days ago.
Second question, is there anyone that has a clean system version 216 to download? Can't seem to find anything on google.
Thanks in advance, and sorry if it's in the wrong section. If it is, please do move it to the right place.
Kind regards,
Marabon

Re: 2 questions about system folder
Any discussion of modding the client is strictly forbidden on the boards.

Makes no claim to know anything about anything.

Re: 2 questions about system folder
I have clear system folder, and clear client of Frey (216 protocol) and clear Hi5.
And some other and many clear thinks.
What do you exactly need, clean folder, or the full clear client on the 216-th protocol?

Do I need the complete client of version 216 to be able to play on the server or is it just the system folder?zippel wrote:I have clear system folder, and clear client of Frey (216 protocol) and clear Hi5.

Anyway, what I need is to be able to play on the server. So whatever it is, I'd appreciate a download link to get it.
Thanks,
Marabon

Despite what server. Each of them has its own nuances: custom models, textures and other...
To play for the pure server you just clean client (216 protocol) and a modified l2.ini, and not only him, almost all of the necessary files to run from a binary file l2.exe. Kill gameguard... for example.. it's not correctly.
I can't put any links with illegally software (warez).
My advice, look for an answer elsewhere. Here, such issues are not discussed.

I'm not sure I follow...
I just want a completely clean client to run, no modifications whatsoever?

Ok, is it only the system folder I need of version 216 to be able to play?
Or do I need the complete client? I know some other servers advice to fully update and then download their system folder, so I guess that means I can update the client fully and just have a clean system folder and it'd work?

Re: 2 questions about system folder
if you remove the system folder from your install l2 directory and run the Lineage II client ( check files) you'll have a clean system

That'd give me version 268 or something...smuggbg wrote:if you remove the system folder from your install l2 directory and run the Lineage II client ( check files) you'll have a clean system
I'd need 216 for the L2J server.

Re: 2 questions about system folder
There is no full clean Freya client shared anywhere as far as I know. Unfortunately nobody is kind enough to host it.
And you won't get away with just system folder, you will have problems that way.

If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.
