Modding or not?

Post by dezel78000 »

Define modding:
Modding is a slang expression that is derived from the verb "". Modding refers to the act of modifying a piece of hardware or software or anything else for that matter, to perform a function not originally conceived or intended by the designer. ...

changing an hp bar to show on a mob or raidboss is not a mod, it was ment to be done in the first place exp: Raidboss Baylor.

Adding custom data to change stats to make weapon stronger ect. will be modding....

completely the wrong forum for that. Client modification is illegal and will not be discussed here.

well this is nice, I have a l2j server pack of Elipogue, and when i last checked i was in this section. i was looking for for support, and once again i'm in the right secion. i was not looking to mod anything just fix and error. so ass it seems i have not done anything wrong and my topic for help was locked.

so once again can some one give me alittle support? please.

CLIENT modding is illegal, that's why there's no support about it on L2j forum.

Here is the problem, you are asking for a system folder.

Redistributing parts of the L2 Client is ILLEGAL and sharing system folders violates the L2 Copyrights.

Also you are asking for one with a "l2 file edit" where editing a client file is MODDING or MODIFYING the original client files that also violates the L2 Copyrights.

So clearly you are asking for a Client Mod wich violates this forum rules.

If you need more explanations then send me a PM but dont make a new post.
