Newbie Need Help

Post by Eggis »

ok. I am done of my own development I really cant get this working.

I really want it all to be okaj and that it can be running.

Another bonus question out from this.
When I only try to conenct to the server do I need to patch my own lineage2\system dir? Or should it work without that?
How do I know when I need it if yes on the question above?

Thanks alot in advance.

PLEASE HELP ME.
I have the newest rev updated and stuffs from:

this is no l2j problem, you need more memory to start server. if you are sure you have enough try use 64b java or install latest jre.

Thanks for the fast reply, How much ram is needed to run a server?

When I started the gameserver and everything is running, Why can't I connect to it then? If there's just a problem to start the servers?

There might be something more, here you can see the servers are running. But ingame it says wrong password or activate your account.
*Is there anything with patching the system to my server or something?*

at a glance looks like your gs/ls are fine, probly just your host file, or your firewall issues

i saw above you posted this in your host file

Code: Select all

# 127.0.0.1 l2authd.lineage2.com
should be

Code: Select all

127.0.0.1 l2authd.lineage2.com
w/o the number symbol blocking it

Keep using this thread to make another question :)

I can see my gameserver in the server list is down when I only have the login server up, but when I start gameserver I can't see it in the server list...

Any hint?

I have some thoughts that there's an error in mySQL DB but I'm not sure, in the column registred_gameservers there are no stuffs, only null, null, null. But what to enter there? and how do I update the database?

did you run the registergameserver.bat from login directory?
If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.
Otherwise you will never learn anything if all you do is copy-paste!
