Floodprotection

Post by Notorious »

Just noticed that Janiii have cleaned up the floodprotector, and the punishmenttype 'kick' seems to no longer be valid. Is this true?

And, this feature is too important to not have good instructions on what settings to use, and since I'm pretty unsure of what to enable and what to not enable, and most of all, what timings and limits to set, I would appreciate if someone from devs could help me and other out.
Especially if I now must choose jail as punishment instead of kick.
Ban is still a bit harsh I think, since most of the times the protector kicks in on 'normal' behaviour, so I wouldn't want to use that since that seems too unsure.

Thanks!

"kick" still valid and can be used, just removed from comments.

Good to hear. Should be added to the comments then?

Still, I can go with the default values of the 'Interval', but I think you should add default values for the limit aswell.
Thanks!
