Fame
Fame can be acquired only by characters who are level 40 or higher who have completed the second class change.

Fame can be obtained through various activities such as advancing onto a registered battlefield (such as a castle sieges, fortress sieges, or hideout sieges) and defeating an enemy.

The best scores by ranking are registered at the Festival of the Darkness, and if your affiliated clan is victorious, you receive a certain amount of fame from the Festival Guide as a reward.

Underground Coliseum
Consecutive victories earn you a consecutive bonus.

Olympiad
You can obtain fame by consuming a Noblesse gate pass through the Olympiad Guide.

Fame is consumed when using various abilities through the "Fame Guide" who is located in the Town of Aden and Rune Township.

An individual's fame no longer increases once it reaches a certain point.

Fame Rewards
Consumables and talismans of each type (including those for class use) that are needed on the battlefield can be purchased.

Fame rewards can be exchanged for a certain amount of clan fame.

Fame rewards can be exchanged to reduce your PK Count.

what do you mean "starting skill"?
If you refer to newbie buffs, now you got the full list at lvl 6 and will remain the same till lvl 62, only haste will grow from lvl 1 to lvl 2 at 40.
newbie healing cubic maintain the same lvl of application that it has now.

About vitality level consumption I have no new data as I expended my online time raiding yesterday - about vitality level acquisition I'm starting to think that you get new level not when you have enought vitality points but at a fixed time as for olympiads and manor, as I left all day an alt logged off and got no level, the next morning got two level at once.
I think it's done at 24.00 gmt but need more evidence.

Newbie helper has become a way more helpful. In gludio for instance, he gives advice for the first occupation changes and in talking, he suggests the sword of solidarity quest. Also, for now, it seems that you can exp much, much faster with quests rather than by pve.

New social action for male human is charm, which really sux btw (he seems to scratch his head and then he gives you his heart xD).

Vitality Regen seems pathetic, I was offline for 10 hours and no point regenerated (yeap I was one of those who did not know that VS was boosting Quests and that it was so easy to consume). I logged in after 30 hours and all points were regenerated.

-- At level 18, I killed over 50 mobs with vit lvl 4 (those lizards near ruins of agony for a quest, white) and my vit did not go down.

PS for the following: A Sys Message Pops-Up every time saying me to visit the newbie helper (for example after completing Cure for Fever Disease, I got: Last Duty Complete - Visit the newbie helper)

It sounds like retail L2 is more and more copying WoW and (get this) private L2 servers! Come on...buffs till lv62 (NPC Buffer anyone; I am starting to really pitty people who spent time leveling creating prophets...)? Higher rates overall (one month to level 65+ so basically that is nearly 3-5x rates)? Vitality system for additional bonus exp while "rested" (completely stolen from WoW)?

Oh yeah, and I love their minigame. Since so many L2 players get bored with L2 and go on free browser games, now L2 comes with a built-in Bejeweled! So if you are tired of L2, just pay them $13 per month for Bejeweled! Great plan!!!

blah...NCZ0ft is only creating junk lately. I am totally disappointed with them.

When is that PTS section coming out? <3 When it comes out, please create a thread stating what's currently done and what's need info so we can focus on not done things and not on possibly already completed..

I found out that vitality does not affect quest exp/sp. I also created a new human char and completely finished all newbie guide missions with screenshots, so if any dev wants them, send me a PM.

I also completed one of the new quests, the Traces of Evil one. Here are the screenshots I got.. I will complete the Invention Ambition later too

Gracia - Part 1 Launch

The wait is almost over! We're pleased to announce that the Lineage II: The 2nd Throne - Gracia™ - Part 1 update will be going live on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. The current estimated maintenance period for the launch of The 2nd Throne - Gracia™ - Part 1 is 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Central Time (1:00 PM to 7:00 PM GMT) on Tuesday, August 12. Event Gatekeepers will be back in the towns of Aden and Elmore to celebrate the launch.

During the server downtime for the launch of the Gracia - Part 1 update, your character(s) will be moved to the nearest village.
