Hey all, got another issue. My server is up and online, and on the newbie islands, all the monsters and such seem to be spawning ok. Only problem is, I died in the elvin ruins, and it took my character to the first town on the mainland. Giran Castle town. And in the open world outside, I have literally found NO monster spawns. Well, until today, I found one small group that immidiately killed me. (Level 19)

So I was wondering if there's a setting I have to do to make them spawn in the open world or something? Anyone know whats up with this?

(Also where are the class transfer guys? And the dude that trains you to have a pet?)

probably incomplete database installation (either npc or spawn table, or both)
If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.
Otherwise you will never learn anything if all you do is copy-paste!

I ran the DB Installer for a DB update hoping it would correct the spawn value, the NPC table I think should be fine given that all NPC's in town appear to be spawning, and I've found quest NPC's lying on the ground out in the world to. Should I do a full reinstall? (Sucky, I'd lose my characters.) Or is there another method to correct this?

Are there even suppost to be monsters on the paths between towns? There'd a farmstead outside Castle Giran that's empty, nothing really around it. Are there suppost to be Monsters or NPC's there?

EDIT-

I've now found several groups of monsters, in a waists sort of area? Is it just that they tend to appear in very specific places, leaving the castle grounds/area open for PVP warfare?

If that is so, which towns/area's are geared more towards the level 17-21 range? Why are you inititally sent to Giran in that instance? And how can I configure the clan system to allow for, uh, less than optimal population?

just execute sql file for spawn table
