it's just a number and a letter in a text file, what do you care?
i've had 2 revisions for L2J Server too, like xxxx:xxxxM

how does it calculate "your revision" if you have several files with multiple revisions modified?

There is one main file for whole checkout which is updated when you do full update. If you update only file by file it will not get changed.
