I never played Lineage 2 on live, most of my experience has been with EQ.

This may be a dumb question, but since I have never played Lineage 2, I have no idea where to find this out. It is an easy question though

Getting a server setup and client logged in was not too painful. Since I have never played Lineage 2 before the eye candy really caught me. I mean WOW, very impressive graphics. After reading about how the live game was mainly PvP and PvR (realm) and siege based, is it even going to be fun for a handful of local people? I am thinking the max that will be playing is 3-4 people all in my area. Is there maybe a mod or database that is more PvE, or any way to switch things up some? I cannot really see 4 people being able to do something major. If not it would be sad since this is such a beautiful game.

You most likely be better off to join some server out there, to find out what the game is all about. Maybe a ~50x server to speed you though it, tho a low are ~5x max is better for learning the actuall game.

You will find other people there that can teach you about the game, which is basicly farming
