Create account problems

Post by Callisto »

Ok, i have a slight problem xD .... I have the last rev of ct2.3 from branch, installed db, and all of that, and when i try to get in game, it says that my password is incorrect. I triple checked the configs ( the server is on localhost ), all seems to be ok.The host file points to localhost, so I have no idea where the problem is O_o ... Can someone give me some ideas where i might of screwed it up? :(

Cheers, CaLLisTo

Edit : Sorry, just noticed that i posted in the wrong section. An admin is kind to move it, or delete it, and will create it where it belongs. sorry again.

Well....I am not sure of that. Altrough the host file is pointing to localhost wich is 127.0.0.1 .... Works on other servers, really don't know where the problem is. In the firewall i puted the exceptions for the GS-LS ports, and the l2 client .... Probably i missed something, a port or something.

When im not wrong you can see in the log files of login server or the user is attempting to login with invalid userdata.

You should check the log file of the login server or you are connecting to it.

** In the time i used l2j this was the way it happend ;).
** I will use l2j soon again.

another option how to check if you have right server config is, to set the config to auto create accounts on login and check if an account is created when you log in. if not, then you set up the server wrong.
