I am new to L2J, I thought that the idea of a private server was great.

Since diving in I have been continually confounded with issues which stem directly from following the install directions.

It might be useful to folks like me to directly address the fact that this server will not work with the current NCZ0ft release of the client. It might further be helpful to supply a link to a down-loadable of a client which will work with the current version of the server. I am not advocating any sort of illegal behavior but the lack of a client kind of puts a damper on server usage doncha think???

Locking topics relating to questions concerning the client is not support, I realize that the forum states SERVER support but there is not anywhere on the site where one can post and ask reasonable questions concerning the client. Maybe until the current issues are solved (if ever) it might be a good idea to allow some help on this issue?

How else is someone coming late to the party like me, who in good faith downloads and installs you server ever going to see the fruits of your labor???

Not trying to be contrary but there are two important parts to the game and not addressing the problem with the current client issues seems like the traditional "sticking your head in the sand".

Surely, simply discussing the locations or possible fixes on a dedicated forum is not going to tread on the servers "legal" status.
