I want asking how i can update my database to newest version?

Hi jennypi,

In order to update your database you have to update your sources, this is, get the new sources either from nightlies or from svn repository (and build it). Then you have to extract the files and run the $FOLDER/tools/database_installer.sh (.bat for Windows) and when you are asked for the gs database ("GAMESERVER DB install type: (f) full install, (u) upgrade, (s) skip or (q) quit?") choose the upgrade option.

I want asking something else
the new db i must extract in folder where i have my database or other folder ?
While i have make some custom NPC , i have change time in buffs ant other things and i dont want lose that .

I suggest you make a patch with eclipse of all the custom work you've done, that way when you paste new DB you can re-apply patch and restore your custom stuff.
