Well, ok... Go work for something which has nothing to do in the "l2j" community. Thoses link on the web page are clear enough. It's not just some text. And yes, go work for something that will not make L2J emulator stonger and with more functionnalities, go go... You two, you make me laught.
Spend your free time by searching the littles problems in the database, contributing littles details, but related to the game, not the web page LOL...

My personal take on this subject (and I'm not talking as a representative of the team as a whole) is this:
If Fabian believes that he is not capable of doing SQL, Jython, or XML work (either because of lack of skills or because of lack of info for the things that are still pending, assuming that it's a real lack of info--i.e. he/she already tried to search for the info but it's nowhere to be found), and likewise if Fabian finds that he/she cannot contribute any HTML (for example because he/she cannot possibly get any info on the html stuff that still need work), then instead of sitting idle and just talking in the forum, he/she *could* choose to work on the webpage.
I repeat, if Fabian is incapable (due to lack of skills or lack of info) to work on ANYTHING else that would be helpful to the datapack, working on the webpage would be welcomed.
However, I must warn Fabian: Just because the current page is temporary and is really simple with graphics unrelated to L2J, this does NOT mean that L2J has nothing on the works. In fact, one of the reasons we didn't improve this page is because we were looking at other alternatives for the "first" page that makes our image. Perhaps something with a newsblog and snapshots of the latest core and datapack revision comments, with immediate links to the latest tickets, latest tracker revisions, and forums, and much more like that. In fact, much work has been done on those fields. Therefore, it is utterly possible that you would develop an awesome page and it'd be turned down because of one of the above attempts coming close to completion, or that your page would be accepted only to be replaced again soon.
In addition, you might produce a page that looks much nicer than what we currently have, but some may think is too busy, or the colors are strange, too dark, too bright, too whatever (remember people's subjective opinions about a "nice" design vary alot), or too many graphics, taking too long to load, etc etc etc, and it might be rejected. Even if your page is accepted by everybody, it might take time before it's posted as the front page of l2jserver/l2jdp, due to the fact that few people have access rights to update that page and those who do might be busy.
So...For your own sanity, I would recommend that you work on something else. There are plenty of tasks within L2JDP that are plausible for anyone. I'm sure you can find something among the DP projects to work on, something that will still be fun for you AND will be less likely to be rejected/ignored.
If under all of the above conditions you still wish to develop a webpage for L2JDP, and if you truly believe that you wouldn't be hurt if all your work went to waste because it got rejected/not used, then feel free to work on it. Nobody will stop you

If he is involved in graphics...than the perfect way is to create some fine template for this kind of forum http://l2jdb.forbidden-lands.sk/

I have seen these "temporary pages" he is talking about (the castle, etc) for at least two years, hmmm so how long is "temporary"?
Anyhow, maybe the "team" can take this offer for what it is worth, I would be surprised if there is not something. Maybe what he makes might be replaced in a short period, maybe not - but even so, I would not turn down the offer for some new graphics and ideas being given for free.

Current L2J Server web page has been completed, we are just finishing some details about the l2jcore forums (conversion to phpbb3) and then we will release the whole thing.
