I think my server is fine. I can almost connect to it with the incorrect client (Gracia 2). I get all the way in this client to the server selection page and it says that the protocol is wrong. This is fine since the server is high five and the gracia client is not. But I have a high 5 client. Sadly, whenever I run the l2.bin file as an exe. It doesn't work. I get an error that says....
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
I try running this file as an admin and it says it cannot find the file.I have no idea where this error even comes from. I do these exact same steps with the gracia client and I"m fine (other than the wrong protocol).
Is my high5 client corrupted? Could anyone give me a clean L2.bin file? I think that's all I need. Also, I'm sorry if I'm out of line talking about the client so much in the server support forum but I couldn't find a place for this question. Also, I know we're not really supposed to talk about the client at all. However, I'm not modding it at all just trying to get it to run as it was originally distributed. So, if you could send me a PM or an email that would be great.
Could a moderator please move this to the client support forum. Thank you sorry for posting in the wrong forum.

Re: L2.exe Client Error
Hello there, I have ran High Five client both in 32 and 64bits Windows, and I did not have any problems like you describe.
Due to copyright and other legal things we are not allowed to distribute the proper files, even if they are not modded.
You will have to relay on the web search engines to find a "clean high five system".

Thank you for your quick response. So, once I have a legal clean client of high five, I should be working if I follow the same steps to get my gracia 2 client working?Zoey76 wrote:Hello there, I have ran High Five client both in 32 and 64bits Windows, and I did not have any problems like you describe.

The High Five server requires less configurations than the Gracia part 2 server, it should be easier.

Re: L2.exe Client Error
Yes, my issues are not with the server itself but rather finding the correct client to run on it. I have a gracia final server up and running now (the high five server was much easier to setup). But apparently my client is not a gracia final client...I got it to kind of run but now (protocol version 83 client vs protocol version 152) I can't cast spells...odd.Zoey76 wrote:The High Five server requires less configurations than the Gracia part 2 server, it should be easier.
Do you happen to know which client is 152....?
