Stability - Anyone else have these problems?

Post by epiks »

I know the high five pack is unstable. But Ive been having the craziest issues. After running for some time, errors will just start happening..things will get disabled on their own..All of the sudden I have like 40 different NPC datas that are just "missing" or not laoding now..its ridiculous!

When is a stable version going to be available? Oh yeah, I also have a dual xeon 3.4 with SCSI drives, only got 4gb ram but STILL..restart the dedicated, start the server up..1 person online and its using 3,8gB!!! When its not running it shows windows is using 338mb.

Does it really suck that much usage? When I used to run a C6 server i could hold 850 players on a 8gb machine. Dont see how thts possible on this rev.

Oh off topic question..ive noticed on these new packs youve taken out "etc items" and "weapons" and all that out of mysql..where is the world is the NPC data so I can edits the mobs stats!? I know in game you can shft+click but i want to edit BASE STATS! lke p.def and p.atk

thanks in advance!

1st you must be doing something wrong updating your files. Try a clean server and then add your changes on top.
2nd Show us your startGameserver.bat memory settings.
3d Interlude Packs a re a lot lighter than current H5. Just think about Interlude is 5 years old and how much more theres been added to l2 since then.
4th Mob stats are still on npc.sql but some of the npc settings have been seperated to npcaidata.sql. All items have been moved to stats folder. Same with skills. Skills now are on SkillTrees folder in data folder of the dp.
