So my problem is that I absolutely can't allow other people to connect to my server. Even I remain stuck at the login screen. I'll show you my 'server.properties' file and 'ipconfig.xml' file but first I'll give you some useful information:
Static Wan IP: 213.119.216.58 (But I read a dynamic IP is better so I made a no-ip domain called 'l2cabuto2.no-ip.org'.)
Router: 128.192.2.1

This is my 'server.properties' file:

Code: Select all

This is my 'ipconfig.xml' file:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><gameserver address="l2cabuto2.no-ip.org">    <define subnet="127.0.0.0/8" address="127.0.0.1" />    <define subnet="192.168.0.0/16" address="192.168.2.1" /></gameserver>
Now, besides the things I need to adjust in the files above, are there any other files I need to edit?

Many thanks in advantage!

Hi!

You don't have to change ip's in server.properties, only in ipconfig.xml, so leave the LoginHost on default.
With dynamic ip, every player should change the line of their hosts file to your latest assigned ip address.
Here is a little windows batch script that changes hosts.
http://prog.szunyi.com/downloads/L2Starter.zip
You can put a start l2.exe line at the end, and it will immediately start the game after host change is done.

I changed the 'server.properties' file back to the default form, but I assume I did something wrong as I'm still stuck at the login window when I try to login! :s

Anyways, thanks for helping.
