Client connection
L2J Revision Number: 4762
L2JDP Revision Number: 8203
i downloaded the latest client for L2, and got it fully updated (otherwise it wont run on my machine).
When i try to login i get the message: you are currently logging in please wait a moment.
Login & Game server seem to run fine (they dont get a message of a client trying to connect).
I have the hosts file changed to the following:
192.168.2.17 l2authd.lineage2.com
192.168.2.17 l2testauthd.lineage2.com
192.168.2.17 (Server ip for LAN).
Am i missing something obviously?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Client connection
Ipconfig.xml:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- Externalhost here (Internet IP) or Localhost IP for local test -->
<gameserver address="192.168.2.17" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="ipconfig.xsd">
<!-- Localhost here -->
<define subnet="127.0.0.0/8" address="127.0.0.1" />
<!-- Internalhosts here (LANs IPs) -->
<define subnet="10.0.0.0/8" address="10.0.0.0" />
<define subnet="172.16.0.0/19" address="172.16.0.0" />
<define subnet="192.168.0.0/32" address="192.168.2.17" />
</gameserver>
De server is connected on the same switch as de client computer (LAN). IP of de client computer is 192.168.2.10.
Both the server and client dont have a Antivirus / Windows Firewall enabled.
any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Client connection
You were right with the firewall, i had the service stopped. not diabled.
Now i can log in, but i get a protocol error. Does anyone know what the latest protocol version is?
i got my client fully updated.
Thanks!
