Hello to everyone !
As usually , here I come with a really stupid question ( Everybody has his moments ) :
Is there any chance to get a "close to real" version of Interlude ?
"Close to real" = Less than a few bugs.
=====
1.On the revision found on svn.l2jserver.com ( 1434 ) if I remember well , are a lot of bugs.
2.Can the "fixed" things from Epilogue/Freya be compiled to Interlude , this way making them work ?
=====
Please , answer straight. By straight I mean information referring to my post , not : " You're stupid ! " , because I did not curse you ( who ever you are )
Thank you !

Re: Interlude ServerPack Question
For warnings and minor bug fixes you can try http://l2jserver.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 25#p119844
Yes many features can be ported from newer versions to an older one, as long as the client support this features.
Problems you will face, packet structure, even if client can handle the packet it'll be a lot different from Freya for example. Other thing is script handling, datapack is very poor in Interlude, not in features but in design and support for unhardcoded scripts, this will be a problem too.
Anyway good luck

Re: Interlude ServerPack Question
I dev since a couple of months my own vision of IL, as retail as possible, with 0 custom. The pack is public, and timeline can be accessed to anyone, and anyone can help.
All is possible in L2J, and basically I propose fixes on this forum for Freya fixing my IL stuff in same time (even if those *sscreneeheueiushqjh* put my shares each time in Legacy server).
The difficulty is effectively to take infos from IL era, Internet is sometimes cruel and you won't find what you want. About packets, the best would be to sniff an unprotected L2off server. It would be enough for packets infos. By the way, IL serverpackets opcodes are shared on this forum.
I won't do publicity here for my pack, but basically there are people doing their own forks, with more or less luck, more or less ambitions, more or less professionalism, and I'm one of them
.
About beginning something from "raw nightlies" L2J IL, I warn you : the road is long, very long. I made myself this, as there were no reliable decent pack, and if I never doubt about the fact it was the only good solution, I wouldn't recommend you to do the same.
3 months won't be enough. I already passed 5 months on my pack, and it's just the beginning
.

About the questions you talk about :
there are not only a lot of bugs. There are full reworks needed. Knownlists ar eone of them, death refactor, skills, items,... All need an update. I don't even talk about well known exploits (olympiads, dupe,...) or famous IL bugs (prismeval islands dinos casting buffs on you, fake death on olympiad,...).
you can port anything you want, depending of packets restrictions. I ported whole parts of Freya without any problem, it is just a matter to know what you are doing.
Feel free to PM me for more infos / forum links
. In any case, good luck.
