Old member, new server

When this thing first started and chef was still in charge i used to code on this project.
Recently i started up a server again and i must say, the packages work pretty well.
In the old days we had to do everything ourselves, now it's mostly automated if you want, which is good.

However...
When i search for info through google, (Now you have to have a frigging degree in maths to even register?) i get hits to this forum and all i see is snotty nosed comments from selfimportant pricks who think they are gods gift to coding or something.
This used to be a place where everyone helped eachother.

WTH is wrong with you people?
I just made this account to say, i am VERY dissapointed in the community here.
Also, the data is a buggering mess!

install and spawn the npc_buffer shiela, the table has buff levels 3,4,5,6 and what do you get, buffs level one.
Seems they are defined in a ton of places, if people ask questions about it they get told they suck and should learn sql?
Buff tables, defined in xml, python scripts.
It's a big frigging mess and people should know, they can't ask anything.

You people suck these days.

trouble is that some people is still asking questions that are already answered many times, so they are creating "duplicated post" for nothing, instead of use search, thats all.

now about captcha with maths (for register)... it was implemented due fucking bots making spam on forum with AD, same happens in trac, anyway in forum it could be changed to recaptcha, you can request this here: viewforum.php?f=96

btw: Talking about the forum captcha. If you think it's a real protection, then you are very naiv. There are only 3 different equations ...
If someone really wants to flood the forum it could be done within less than one hour.
