Custom Job

Post by pacefist »

I know that it's illegal but i did only for test. I tried to add own job in core. Code in core works fine only one problem in client. When i make change on custom test job my char looks like dwarf, but job's race is human. There are no mistakes. It it possible at all, to create custom job or not?
Thnx in advace!

Hello.

I am not sure what you mean by job? Do you mean race? If you mean new race no that is not possible without editing client.

Regarding a custom class, this is somewhat possible however to call it something else than those in cleint is also client editing. So what you can do for example is to use one of the existing classes for exampley say rogue and create a new. You could also possible make a new 1st, 2nd or 3rd classes by using for example rouge. It is not that hard and it is possible.

Sry dude, by "job" i mean class (profession). I know that create one class from another it's easy. But i need something different e.g. human fighter -> gladiator -> duelist -> test class

well you can create a 'custom' one but the problem is in your character menu as far as I know you will not be able to change the name of the already existing classes. So you would have to use some existing class, but you can create a custom one that gives different skills etc etc. And you can call it whatever you want but you will not be able to tell in client if he is that class or not.
