Hi,
the resist of elemental should cut off, if breakpoint of attk attribute and Resi Attribute is reached.
now, if you attack, for example, a mob with no ele resi with a-grade weapon without ele I do 300 damage.
If I use a buff that gives me ele attack attribut like "seed of water" i do 280 damage.
It seems in this case the ele damage is reduced by the ele damage value...
you can test this.. its recreateable...

Re: Elemental Damage / Resist Formulars

you can then have a look of this, it can be, maybe u think or know this is correct, but the I know it and I can explain it to my community...
@DS I don't say it is wrong or right, I wanna know if it is...

Re: Elemental Damage / Resist Formulars
Where can you define the mobs resists to elements?

Re: Elemental Damage / Resist Formulars
ok I found it what I try to explain:
http://www.lineage2.com/news/freya_09.html
•Defense attribute resistance has changed (when the defense attribute amount is higher than the attack attribute). For example, if an attacker's attribute value is 50, and the defense attribute value on a target is 100, the damage amount will be the same if the defense value was 50.
..and on L2j Server if the defense value get higher the the damage decrease...

Let me explain what I did.
take char with no atk attr. no ele on weapon.
Testmob = ID 20968 nonexisting man. Ele resi Mob = 20.
attacking mob with hits (no skills) Result = between 245 and 267 damage.
then put 20 ele to weapon. Now I attack with 20 ele again 20 ele resi mob.
Result the damage is between 201 and 220 now.
why I did lesser damage with ele attribute as without?
is 20 resi again 20 attk attribute not the same damage as without ele?
please explain it to me, I only want to understand it
Thanks!
