Mysql issue/need advice

Hello everyone, I have a huge issue that troubles me, and seems like i dont know if there is any way to solve it....
Here it is: Trying to reinstall mysql server, but it required again the old password, no matter that i had deleted all files, so someone told me to erase from the registry any file cointaining mysql.... so i did... and now when i start the installer it says this: Data for configuration are broken please report to support center..... what can i do to fix this please..... :/// im messed up :S

check in "Documents and Settings\All Users\Program Data\MySQL"

mine is on: C:\Program Files\MySQL

try check that too

its not that guys, i mean that i cannot run the installer now that i deleted all files in the registry containing mysql... only solution is format now?? when i run the mysql installer it says that configuration data are broken please refer to the support center... :/

google could not help... not even trying installing older versions of mysql..

well i tried to install ms sql server 2008 express R2
but after installation i got this error : Your SQL Server 2008 R2 installation completed with failures.
Wait on the Database Engine recovery handle failed. Check the Sql server error log for potential causes.
This is what i get in the end of the error log..

l2j does not use MICROSOFT SQL server, it uses MySQL from mysql.com
If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.
Otherwise you will never learn anything if all you do is copy-paste!
