I may have screwed something up when updating but, I just can't seem to get eclipse to stop giving me errors after updating to Java 8 (I received errors in Java 7 which prompted me to update). After installing the new JRE and updating environment variables I get these kind of errors on nearly every single java file:

Get eclipse luna, however i just ignore them for now

I use Eclipse Standard 4.4 RC1, 204 MB, 64 Bit
Same error... java 8

Weird i just updated to the luna eclipse and i had no problems. Do you have subversion 1.8?

That has nothing to do with Subversion, it's all about the project's compliance level and Eclipse support for JDK8.

Indeed, updating to Luna using the link suggested by UnAfraid fixes my errors on my 64 bit system.

Mm.. thx, work with eclipse-standard-luna-RC1-win32-x86_64.
Eclipse-standard-kepler-SR2-win32-x86_64 --> error.
