I have a question, Will L2J be able to support 1000-2000 online capacity?

I don't think so many DB connections are required, I should check what that config does exactly..

can hold much more than 2k.
used to have also 3k without problems. now is hard to have 1k due to l2off free from High Five to etc..

Depends if high rate full buffed chars or just slowish x1 self buff chars at that 1000 online

I woudn't say it like that, it isn't servers that aren't strong enough it's the connection i believe.
