i am a real noobie. i have gone thru all the walk throughs for the nightlies. i have started my login and it gives me no errors, i have started the gameserver and has gone thru without any errors. i have checked the outputs and looks similiar. I have got the hi5 client loaded on but this where i'm lost. How do i actually start the game so it looks like a game instead of a console. Do i need 2 computers to do this? Can i run it off same computer? What is next step? i want to learn. Can somebody please break it down for me i would really be thankful. if you need more info let me know.

Server is ready and waiting for somebody from 127.0.0.1 - your pc to login. All you need to do now is connect to it, use lineage 2 client

first thank you for the reply. second do i use the l2.bin to connect to it. i haven't edit any host files except login and gameserver properties for password.

if u did what i said, changing l2.ini will be enough, later u can run game with l2.exe in system folder

i took copied the l2 bin from system folder and renamed it l2 exe but when i try to run it i get and error message. The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.

here is all i have. i am trying to figure out just can't seem to get the connections right

i don't know where to go after this to get running.

You have put wrong different addresses in your files.

In your hosts file you have the ip, 192.168.1.104, but on your ipconfig.xml file, the ip address you\ve given is 192.168.0.104.

You must put the same ip address, on both files.
