Raid valakas

when players attack it, all get disconnected... is there a solution?

yes, players should make quest, and wait until Valakas wake up (30 min if I'm not wrong), then can be killed.
other way... you need to disable valakas AI, and add skills manually to him, specially if you have moved this Boss to other zone (like in some custom servers).

you can try to change the npc type from l2grandbosses to l2npc, then u need to set manually the skills etc...

No, this is managed by AI, also if you were going to change the type should be l2monster.
