This is what will happen to lineage 2 in the next 3-5 years :/ The worst thing is that when the punkasses close a game they don't release the server files and it is not fair toward players who have supported the game from the beginning :/

As an example: Tabula Rasa :/
Releasing it would mean that another company could pick it and still make money from it (ofc with a worst service)
They could at the very least sell the files for big money, at least the newbs and not-so-serious people wouldn't be able to get them that way.
If you have problems, FIRST TRY SOLVING THEM YOURSELF, and if you get errors, TRY TO ANALYZE THEM, and ONLY if you can't help it, THEN ask here.

You know NCZ0ft is only focused on income; no income - no game. The only reason they do updates is to pull new people in (unfortunately at a cost of a part of old players). And it does cost money to keep several high power servers up and running 24/7 with all the maintenance costs and stuff. Not that they don't have the money, they're just "businessmen".

The word "even" is probably not in place here; 10 years for a game is A LOT of time, I don't even know any game that's been really popular for 10+ years (not counting classics - they might be popular but they aren't played much every day).
