Hi, I work as Java delopment in a Spanish software company. Recently i started in L2j world. My idea is make a funny L2 mod dividing the world in Reigns. But, yesterday, i had my first critical problem with the login, I was searching during all night on google but no solution about it except disabling the Kaspersky protection.

The error is Gameguard:114. I tried to:
-Disable the Kaspersky and Firewall.
-Change the ip of gameguard in etc/hosts to 216.107.250.194

I know this is a client error, not a server error but, how do you do to run a 100% legal l2j server without modifying the l2.ini file? All solution I found are based on client modification :s

Gameguard crack.
Live with it, there are too many problems Gameguard can potentially cause. It is practically useless anyway since it has ALWAYS been bypassed by players who needed it and it also gives the system a harder time to process stuff (AFAIK ~ 30% increase in CPU time), but NCZ0ft doesn't care.

Hi, thanks for the answer jurchiks, i solved the problem downloading a file called dsetup.dll but this solution force me to modify the client and I dont wanna do it by this way. Do you know any solution without modify the client like an own gameguard server and where i can find it?.
