ram 2gb... im not sure even if the server will start :)

By default it uses around 600mb memory. (With no players)
So yes it will start.
I guess it won't be able to handle a lot of players but around 200-300 will do yes.

I was able to handle around 100 players with Single Core, 250GB 7200RPM, 1GB DDR RAM & 1MBit upload :mrgreen:

the players will notice the single core especially when they are doing heavy stuff...big mob trains, big raids with alot of ai actions, stuff like that, I tried running a server once on a single core...see what happens when you make a big mob train on primeval isle.
java really loves multi cores

sure, you can load full geodata in 2GB even...I can load full geodata (without pathnodes) even on my test machine in -Xmx1024 ...
