Hello L2j Forum, and may i add, its a very informative place and a very nice tutorial vid!.

So here is my issue: I got my server up and running on my own machine and everything seems ok.
I got latest update of L2 epi. and then i tried to go online with my server, cuz i wanted to add a few friends to it.
but noone can find my server ? How can that be and is my server even online ?

My ip: (Wan) that ive used is 188.176.255.96 and for my friends hostfile we added the line:
188.176.255.96 l2authd.lineage2.com

Im still using the same settings the 127.0.0.1 cuz its on my own pc im running the server, but for others i asume they need the Wan-Ip to log on my server right?

Am i missing more or am i putting up the wrong ip for them ?

I hope someone can help me, sofar ive spend a couple of days on this and read thru this forum along with others to try and locate what ive might have done wrong.
A example of an hostfile would be nice (ofcuz with my serverinfo) and or other things that can help me out.

Really hope someone can read out of my post, what i did wrong so i can get my server "online" and i can get my friends to connect on it.

I got the idea its a little thing, cuz the server is running perfectly for me, so please if you can assist me on this matter thank you.

pls do say if you need more info, files screenshots etc, and ill provide it.

Start,run,cmd,ipconfig use the internal ip there not the 127

My other ip ? how would i change that ? im sorry i dont get that.

I know how to do a ipconfig etc but your talkin about me using the 192.168.1.xx instead of the 127.0.0.1 right?

Could you/someone kindly tell me how to change that ?

You have opened the ports in your router?
