Olympiad Help Needed

Guys sorry if i am posting in wrong section but i need some help about oly.
Is it possible to change period time only from config files? and if not is it possible to modify server's core and update myserver without the olympiad period be restarded or loose points or other staff.I've read all other topics but i can't find out which is the right way to change server's core..I also need the file to modify inside the core.
And last i need a time converter from the stupid 12348234123 to a real time..
If someone can help I would really appreciate this.
