Hi there,

Is the bandwidth related to the ping?
Last months I had 1Gbps connection and all is ok, but the servers only used average a bit less than 1Mbps...
Now, I'll return to 100Mbps. Is this a bad decision?

Well yes and no. Yes if you have bad bandwidth you will have high ping and vice versa. Also there are other factors like distance to players and so on which can increase ping. 100 mbps depends is it upload or download or full duplex? 100 mbps can hold pretty many players so it depends on how many you have and plan having. I'd say it would not matter much if you change it down unless the load of server increases a lot.

I have 3 machines, and I guess that they share the 100MBps (full duplex, yes).
The 3 servers reached 1300 players someday, and I hope this record to be beaten again ^^
