i'm runing a linux server.

anyway to make backup of the l2jserver automated ?
like a program that will make a backup file every 12 hours let's say

i don't see a reason to backup server files, maybe only olympiad config..
anyway if you mean SQL backup then use cron and mysqldump, search google for "crontab mysqldump"

If you use server with PHP support u can use phpmybackuppro. It's free, and very powerfull. Some of the options it has, is to take backup of the database any time or day you choose and send it in a email address... U can learn more here.
