Starting the client and trying to login just gets me the "hacking tool detected". So i put
216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com

into my hosts file and when I start the client, the whole computer reboots.

I searched and didnt find anything. help would be appreciated

Do you have avast and windows vista 32 ? If so, try to check the 'disable avast auto protection' on the avast advanced option. Works for me.

I never recieved the hacking tool message but I do get the reboot when I start the client up. I have ESET Smart Security 4. I tried the diable real time monitoring but the same results occured. I'm open for trying anything. I'll keep testing different scenarios until, hopefully, someone has ran into this and fixed it. Thanks
