I don't know if this is where to ask, but i have 5 people on my server with the IPs being one number off f rom being exact. wth these are the same people right?

1 number could make quite a diffrence in who it is really...

so
xxx.xxx.xxx.2
xxx.xxx.xxx.3
xxx.xxx.xxx.4

These could be different people? all the other numbers exactly the same. would that be how a collage campus ip would be set up?

its unlikely to have 4 of such ip adresses, alltho not impossible.
did you try a tracert on them yet ?

My sugestion is that ther is some cumputers/ppl on the same internet conektion (using an hub, router, etc)
