Why you cant set it? In this topic exists a good manual with pictures.

i can set the java_home to my jdk but the server keeps working with the jre

does the PATH point to any of them (jre/jdk)? Should be the same for both imo.

JAVA_HOME
C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.6.0_21

man its not the path its the GG
i just made some tests and realized that

if i start the gameserver with old GG and enter in game somehow the access is granted even if i reinstall the GG to the latest it doesnt give the error anymore
BUT
if i start the gameserver with the latest GG then enter in game to get the error even reinstalling of GG to older doesnt help you always get error

its something like FIRST ACCESS CANNOT BE CHANGED

GG -> GameGuard??
l2jserver doesn't have gameguard...

if this is gameguard problem then whats the point of that? you guys say that this is NCZ0ft's work but this is rly pointless since if i remove the polygon usage i wont get the error anymore

GG not allow other programs to load dll's on the fly. awt.dll loaded on the first use.
In fact you can add using of the awt.dll somewhere during server load, before client start.

if i have my java installed in C:\Program Files\Java2\jre6...
What i must write in JAVA_HOME and in PATH to not have errors??
When i try to use Eclipse tell me
C:\Users\Nighty\workspace\L2_GameServer\build.xml:63: Unable to find a javac compiler;
com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath.
Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK.
It is currently set to "C:\Program Files\Java2\jre6"

Anyone can help me??

awt.dll: Access denied is caused when Game Guard is running, the only way to resolve this is searching in google.
