If you have an antivirus, try excluding the java folder from scanning.
I've tried on a clean windows xp pro install, without any antivirus, firewall, security center disabled, and still the same problem.

Ok, i have an headache now lol, i think i'll try again later.

Thx a lot to you all for your help.

I must leave for now, sorry :).

Hi,

Ok, i've finally found WHY it was not working !
An Admin can write "Solved" into the first post ?

In fact, it was just because i forgot to add the line "66.240.255.107 nprotect.lineage2.com" into the hosts file !!!

Now, i have the three lines and it works very well ! :

216.107.250.194 l2update.lineage2.com
66.240.255.107 nprotect.lineage2.com
127.0.0.1 l2authd.lineage2.com

Thank you so much to you all to have taken some time for me, it's very nice of you :)

I hope it will help somebody else !

I have the exact same OS, and the exact same problem. I have yet to find the [SOLVED] portion of this thread. As Beachmol stated, I too have run several L2J's before, and never had this much trouble.

Question -- will my players have to also modify THEIR hosts file? I thought since Interlude the hosts thingy became unnecessary/obsolete?

Also, which of those hosts file IP's are your's, Beachmol, and which should I change to my 127?
