Hello everyone as again i have to please you all of great dev's for a help...
i want to ask how to balance server with max enchant +25.....Boss Jawels +10 :mrgreen: i'll be happy for every help :P

exactly my point of view and my server is using retail enchant values.

still, you` d be surprised how many people CRY About it beeing (80%) "too hard", allthough it s almost a high rate server with gmshops and tvt reward /champ mobs obtainaible glits /bless ews system.

i`m starting to thinck the a lower rate server is the way to go (max 50x) since most of the people just don`t know l2, plain and simple and can`t appreciate that +1 difference or an attribute on a weapon. Most of the users still don`t know about the attribute system and grac final has been out for more then half a year.

imho it is almost impossible to balance things with 24h buffs/dances/song/prophecies/improved..., with a lot of extra buff slots but maybe this can help:

a) reduce enchant effect for magic attacks
b) increase reuse delay of physical skills
c) reduce general damage

pvps will be a bit longer this way at least...

Some admins do not plan this well at all. I know a few other admins who allows +50 weapon, +20 Jewels, +30 armor and has an NPC that make the enchantment process 100% for a little donation. It's only going to be a matter of time before all players will have maximum everything with this kind of freebies.

For new admins, please plan your server well out in advance. At this point, perhaps decreasing attack damage in skills xml, increasing P.DEF for all classes, reduce your buff slots, buff durations, and maybe ultimately removing those high enchanted item from the game and compensate players accordingly. I know that numerous admins "give out" high enchanted item for donations and if this is your case then you had pretty much shot yourself in the foot. However you do it, remember that it would not be this way if you planned your server well.

I have weapon +25 i want reduce power for 30% how to do this?and for every + from 1 to 25

1 Question for most time iv editing buffs.
but if i leave buffs like they should be resist will go 120 or more does it will fak up the pvp?
and Elemental Attributes ? does they will to?

Hmm, interisting Discussion.

I want to write my view of Lineage and Balance, if allowed.

First, "balance" is a complete Illusion, becaus its technically impossible to compare an apple with am oranange, but thats another discussion...

Lineage was originally designed for 1000+ Players, where massive amounts of Pleyers run around and only with Teamwork of entire Clans are able to make some actions, for example Raidbosses etc.

Buffs and Enchant System are one of the most powerful "tools" to power up the players.

In one way, on Servers with very view Players raising their powers with enchant or buffs is okay, but to high will kill the game fun one time.

A Solution here is hard to maqke, because there is no "clear" solution there is only o middle way.

High Power Characters have most time no Problems with monster hunting ecerywhere but the special Monsters (Raids, Grandbosses etc) should be ready to take care of this.

Because Lineage is a MULTIPLAYERGAME (the is forgotten too often by much players who want an all-around-hero) all actions that are planned for multiplyers, should be only solved by Partys.

For example:
Raidbosses, All abous S (or S80+) Equipment should be only available with a powerful Party.

With +6 Equipment and a Storm Screamer in S-Equip you can even farm alone on Hellbound (or with a Spoiler lvl 80 and S-Grade Equipment +6).

There is only one chance to make this harder.
Improve your Multiplayer-Monster (as Raid/Grandbosses) with better KI and Skills.

For example Baium should do MUCH more Damage have mot Defense and more Hit points, that Boss hewelry is RARE, because you need 20+ people to kill them.

Make a 18 person team with buffers and nukers and maximum weapoins/armor/jewelry(not boss) and try thoose grandbosses. They should 2 hours (or more)with maximized weapons so that non-optimized groups will be longer on it (or more player shorter etc)

Giving Power to Players is not bad, but if you want to reduce the power (by decrease ebchant power), you betay the player, when "your" +25 weapon ios as strong as a "normal" +10 weapon in my opinion.

Make a test party and try the multiplayer enemies, thats my hint.
Only raising mdef and pdef is NOT the right way in my opinion...
