Server Shutdown on Centos7

Post by Metsune »

I finally got the server up and running however I noticed when I started it there was no console... how can I pull up the server console so I can do a restart on it? I am using this project to learn so I am sure this is a noob question :D.

unless you have a 3d party tool specifically for restarting/shytting down or even managing the server remotely, you must go ingame and use commands to do that.

In linux you can either tail the .log files or open them with a file editor to see whats up in the console. Its quite different than windows.

Ok I was reading the stdout.log and thought maybe there was another way I could do this.. I am still trying to get the client to connect so I will focus on that. Thanks for letting me know!

CentOS is web distro :) :+1:
You should use Ubuntu (LTS is recommended)
