Hi folks,

There are a handful of players on my server that is unable to click on and open the Record of Seven Signs. I had search this forum and with Google but did not get any matching hits on a solution. I remember seeing a forum member making a post about having similar issues but did not post what the resolution was. Other players from my server are able to open the record but there are a few that can't.

Does anyone know the resolution to this small issue?

I'm having the same issue - I checked the WindowsInfo.ini hoping it was just out of range but didn't see anything obvious. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I fixed it - if anyone else has this problem here is the fix -

1 - close your game

2 - go to your L2 system folder

3 - edit the file named WindowsInfo.ini

4 - scroll down to the line that says [SSQMainBoard]

5 - change the coordinates to:

posx=0
posy=0

6 - save the file

7 - restart your game


this isn't an illegal client edit - the coordinates for the client put the window wayyyyy off the edge of the screen. The skill enchant window and a couple others have this issue as well.

Just delete this file, and thats all. Client sometimes wrote invalid data here and player unable to enchant skills, etc..

It's not a client "mod". It's fixing a window coordinate that is wayyyyyyyyyyy off the edge of the screen. A client mod is like changing glow colors/text colors/character skins (aka nude patch). Those items are not discussed here. Also - some of the wonderful NC updates put the gm inventory peek window wayyyyy off the edge too.

I never thought of just deleting the file to see what happens though. I'll try that if I ever have the problem again.
