I did a test... I did enter the game my sister with her pc.. she had a different IP.. and it worked...
but i have a 7.2Mbps adsl line.. how many players can host my server?.. 10? 20? ..is just a curiosity

open ur server.properties in ur gameserver / config folder and look at this entry:

Not many, once it lags then you will know you might get 20 with out problems depends on the pc the server is running

the server running on a intel core 2 quad q9550.. 4Gb ddr3 ram... motherboard asus p5q3...
the number of players depends on the ADSL line or PC?

bit of both the better the line and the pc the more you can hold your pc is ok as long as you dont run geodata on it the line could be better

but the big servers.. what kind of line do they use?
however tomorow i will try tu put in the server a npc buffer and gmshop... if i find it for freya client

try searching a dedicated server if you want to run a good server without lag problems

dedicated server? but.. how much does a server. monthly? 1000€/1425$? I mean a big server..like lineage 2 TheGame... with 500-800 players online
