L2 Client Modding - illegal ? or is it..

How about we talk a bit about the whole client modding thing..

So lets start with some questions that i always had..

1) Where can i find some official statement/law/whatever that makes l2 client modding illegal?

2) Define client modding, What is client modding? When i copy a new texture file (without replacing anything) is it still considered illegal? What about .dll injection? Almost every server uses a modified system... does that practically makes all servers illegal?

3) Have anyone actually got trouble with the police for sharing client mods? I mean sure i have seen servers closed by the FBI for using that leaked official C4 server or w/e but what about specifically for client modifications?

4) Am i allowed to open this topic? lol

For 1) L2 EULA part 3 statement b).
For 2) Modding is modifying something in the game client, if you add/delete/replace/modify you are modding the game client, dll injection is also modding, since this doesn't only apply to static memory.
For 3) If server distribute files from the game, modified or not it's the server in fault, if player modify them is the player in fault.
For 4) No, client modding discussion is not allowed, I belive that implies also asking why not.
