Hi everybody!
I am trying to install a L2j server but when I launch the client, the game stucks and this is the error I get every time.
Gameguard 153 error (or 610 if I delete the GameGuard folder).
First of all, I am trying to play offline, the server and the client run on the same machine.
Now, this is a list of the environment:
- Intel Core 2 Duo E7500, 4GB Ram, Windows 7 x64.
- MySQL Server 5.6.10
- HeidiSQL 8.0.0.4396
- Lineage 2 Gracia Final “raw” client
- Server files CT2.3 downloaded here
- Antivirus and firewall are disabled.

I followed exactly step by step instructions I found here: installation, hosts settings, fake gameguard… and everything seems alright! But when I launch the client (running L2.bin in system folder) always get this error.
Tried both Gracia Epilogue and Gracia Final, with their respective clients and server files. I tried everything and read tons of posts in the forum. Nothing.
Please help!!

Thanks, L

find General.properties and set the following to False.

Code: Select all

 # ---------------------------------------------------------------------------# Server Security# ---------------------------------------------------------------------------# Bypass exploit protection. To ENABLE protection set to True.# Default: TrueBypassValidation = True

Thanks for the answer, unfortunately it didn't help.. :(

BypassValidation set to false, no way. Still "GameGuard error 153".

Atm, i use webserver + nProtect folder as explained on the guide.
Hosts actually are:

127.0.0.1 nProtect.lineage2.com
127.0.0.1 update.nProtect.com
127.0.0.1 update.nProtect.net
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 L2authd.lineage2.com

Whether I put # or not on nProtect lines, nothing changes. And I have read around many solutions for GameGuard, such as NoGG dlsetup.dll or other addresses for hosts above, no one of them worked.

What could be? Anyone experienced same issues with CT2.3-CT2.4? Should I try another release?
I appreciate any suggestion! Thanks

EDIT:

Solved, found a dlsetup.dll compatible with Gracia Final.
