Hi there guys!

We have made some changes on our L2j Wiki we have just upgraded it to the lastest version (1.15.1) and added some fancy extensions currently there have been some changes so far:
  • No more anonymous Edits, NEVER! Too many pple destroying precious work from others.
  • You need to be a registered user to have Edit rights.
  • reCaptcha addon has been added for bot prevention.
  • Page Deleting/Spamming/Vandalism will be punished severely.
  • GeSHi SyntaxHighlight FTW!!!
    Usage example:

    Code: Select all

    <source lang="php"><?php $v = "string"; // sample initialization?>html text<? echo $v; // end of php code?></source>
where lang="php" can be any programming language, for more information please follow this link
There are a ton of things TODO for the Wiki actually, but we are slowly doing it, im actually trying to find some free time to finish the L2jTheme 2.0 for site/forums/wiki/trac that will be a combo upgrade with an awesome theme that will make each part of our site match each other and some eyecandy features made with jQuery (actually i was just learning how to use it and found that this was a nice moment to experiment), wait for it!

Also i invite to everyone to please fill out with information our Wiki, there are a ton of new users that always make the same questions over and over, but a well made Wiki with that many questions answered its a true valuable source of information for them.

We are also looking for active people to participate in this L2j Wiki Documentation Project.

PS: To all the Wiki Writers, please note that our Wiki now runs over a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported licence, if you do not agree with this and want your written articles been removed from it, please contact me.

The idea is to copy english wiki?, what pages should i add besides the english ones?, any special request?, any "follow to" so all the articles match between?

If you look to translate english articles to spanish that is also good, but you can add your own articles or even better improve any existing article.

i just did a few changes to community portal page, External links part, clicked Save, but nothing changed...
is there someone who reviews those changes? if so, there should be a warning at the top of the page, bcuz i'm kinda worried, I don't wanna rewrite everything bcuz of some glitch (if that's what it is)

I've created a few pages, could you take a look at them and tell me if the structure and design is right so i can continue?

http://www.l2jserver.com/wiki/MainPage_es
http://www.l2jserver.com/wiki/Pre-Requisitos
http://www.l2jserver.com/wiki/Levantar_el_Servidor
http://www.l2jserver.com/wiki/Configurar_el_Servidor

I've also modified some existing pages to give them a little more of color, they were so sad :P

Thx
Marcelo

Looks good so far :P

Actually an indeep guide about every config file would be awesome to the new users, most of people dont know what it does the rest of the config options for l2j server.

A guide to Manual Upgrade your server would be welcome too.

http://l2jserver.com/wiki/Configuration_Settings
http://l2jserver.com/wiki/Manual_Upgrade
http://l2jserver.com/wiki/Automatic_Upgrade
http://l2jserver.com/wiki/List_of_Admin_Commands

Those ones are one of the most requested documentation around.

Ok later i will make those, i will also make a raw english version, so at least there is a point to start, then anyone can correct the spell mistakes.
